With over 40 years of existence in Chile, Johnson's is one
the department stores with the highest coverage of the Chilean market, with 54
stores throughout the country and over 120,000 square meters of constructed
surface.
Johnson's is currently developing their new corporate
image, a process they call rebranding that seeks to incorporate visual codes in
order to bring the brand closer to consumers with a fresher look. This change
intends to show the constant evolution of the company.
In this context, the Chilean company adopted SVT AdminG,
the system that permits the administration of programs and versions in GeneXus
development environments, developed and marketed by InterGroup Consultores.
With SVT Admin., in addition to maintaining control and
traceability of all systems, Johnson's of Chile will count on the features this
tool provides for its applications lifecycle control, Quality certifications
and/or CMMI, as well as auditing control.
The rebranding process will require several months of work
since it will be implemented in 54 stores and 125,000 square meters of buildings
that represent the total of Johnson's properties throughout Chile.
In this way, the mega store seeks to consolidate as a
major player in the retail sector based on its presence in the markets of the
region, where it has a huge potential for growth.
