XPM has been developed with GeneXus for the GeneXus community. Its main objective is to integrate all the tools involved in a project's life cycle, in order to improve communication between team members and provide all the necessary information for each member to perform his tasks from the environment that is most familiar to him. XPM also provides features to facilitate tasks and capture data needed to manage projects.
This beta version comes with two free features:
XPM Add-Ins:
•
GeneXus IDE: If you are a developer, you will love this Add-In that allows you to work on your “to-do list” directly from the GeneXus IDE. The objective of this IDE is to minimize interruptions during development by providing you with everything necessary to perform your tasks in the environment that you are most familiar with (GeneXus).
• Microsoft Word: This Add-In is mainly focused on Business Analysts who like to write specifications in Word and then automatically create/update the Work Items of their project in XPM.
• Microsoft Project: This Add-In is focused on Project Managers and allows them to keep the information related to the project synchronized between both systems.
Integration with GxWikiYou can synchronize your projects with a Wiki so as to publish all the documentation containing requirements, features and technical specifications of your Work Items in GxWiki.
iPhone Client
• The iPhone client is now in the Apple Store review process. This first version will allow you to view your list of Work Items and use many of the features offered in the XPM website.
