XI GeneXus Users' International Meeting

The XI GeneXus Users' International Meeting is starting next 11^Th September at the Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel where you will be able to participate in more than 60 conferences linked to GeneXus world, Attend the knowledge base show with more than 25 enterprises and their solutions, among many other activities that will take place until Wednesday 13^th when the President of Uruguay, Dr. Jorge Batlle will close the meeting.  Among the innovations that have been prepared for the XI Meeting we count on laboratories for performing applications on the new technologies that will work on the fourth floor of the Radisson Victoria Plaza.
What is more, there will be an available business corner for those who want to have quiet talks, on the third floor, where there will be comfortable sofas and a permanent cafeteria service. 
As in previous occasions, the e-center with 15 computers with access to the Internet will be available during the 24 hours, the three days of the event. 
GeneXus solutions show gathers 25 enterprises this year and introduces a space exclusively dedicated to the exposition of solutions for the Internet: e-corner. To the more than 60 conferences that will take place in three simultaneous rooms, we add talks to the distributors and distributors to discuss on commercial, marketing, technical support and training matters. Among the main characters of the meeting's principal conferences (key notes) is the president of the Administración Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Antel) in Uruguay, Eng. Fernando Bracco. We will also count on the participation of Oracle, IBM, Microsoft and Informix with their solutions. Internet caught the interest of 17 lecturers. As usual, in each topic we deal with -Workflow, Java, Data Warehousing, GXTools- we will contemplate the technology's concrete aspects, GeneXus future in relation to each of them and the users' experiences.  This year, there are more than 100 knowledge bases (KB) included in the catalogue that gathers the enterprises and their KBs in order to expand the solutions developed in GeneXus and promote their commercialization around the whole world. Among them, we find the almost 30 projects developed inside GeneXus Internet Virtual Space (GIVS) environment and its 24 partners.
Internet's strength could also be noticed in the Catalogue because specific knowledge bases for the electronic commerce were included. The Catalogue's contents –that is delivered to distributors and is distributed at international events during the whole year- is available on the Internet, in CD Rom and on a printed version, too. The CD Rom that contains the catalogue is built for the first time in GeneXus, by using the Smart Static Panels (SSP). As it is usual, the participants can approach the Secretary where services like transport confirming, tourist outings, restaurants, as well as VIP room bookings for the show's participants are centralized.  To close the event we will count on the presence of the President of Uruguay, Dr. Jorge Batlle. The ones who cannot participate in the meeting will be bale to see some conferences at real time on the Internet (www.genexus.com/evento2000) and all those broadcasted talks will be bale to be downloaded from the Web 30 minutes after the conference has finished. The distributors and sub distributors that stay some days more can join the After Event Courses, especially prepared for them. For foreign clients that also happen to stay, there will be a Data Warehouse Shoot during the days that follow the event.
