GeneXus resides on Windows 95/98/NT PCs but generates code and databases that can port to, and run on, AS/400s and other platforms. GXplorer uses Microsoft Excel as an interface and provides a tool for managing the entire lifecycle of a data warehouse. GXplorer includes a metadata manager that lets users define relationships between data warehouse components. It helps with the development and prototyping of databases and programs built using GeneXus and can propagate incremental changes made to the database to metadata and catalogued queries. |
